Taxation is on a par with forced labour

In Anarchy, State and Utopia, Robert Nozick says that taxation without consent is on a par with forced labour.

Here is my attempt to reconstruct his argument:

  1. Taxation without consent consists in taking n-hours earnings from a person without consent.
  2. If something consists in taking n-hours earnings from a person without consent, it is on a par with taking n-hours of work from a person without consent.
  3. If something is on a par with taking n-hours work from a person without consent, it is on a par with forced labour.

Therefore:

  1. Taxation without consent is on a par with forced labour.
